Brewers at 4001 Yancey

2 breweries in one place, now that’s what I call easy bar hopping! Southern Tier and Victory Brewing is the newest LoSo go-to hang out. I mean, have you seen their food menu?

Olde Mecklenburg Brewery

4150 Yancey Rd

If you haven’t been to Olde Meck, you haven’t lived. This German inspired brewery has a huge Biergarten that’s a perfect day drinking hangout spot. Dogs and kids are welcome too!

Sugar Creek Brewing Company

215 Southside Dr

The brewery might look small, but their beers are mighty! Sugar Creek is a great place to go for a casual night out, but can also be the go-to for hosting events.

Birdsong Brewing Company

1016 North Davidson St

Home to the infamous Birdsong Jalapeno Pale Ale, this location has been a staple in Charlotte since 2011! Fun fact: every “Thurstyday” they feature a new flavor release on their website!

Free Range Brewing

Located just outside of NoDa, this cozy, casual taproom is a go-to for live music. Plus on the way out you can hit up Amelies!

Heist Brewery

Heist is one of Charlotte’s most classic spots. If you have out of town guests, Heist’s brunch is a must! 

NoDa Brewing Company

2921 North Tryon St

A well known, and well loved, Charlotte favorite. Home to flavors like Jam Session and Hop Drop ‘n Roll, this brewery is basically a historic landmark for the city.

Wooden Robot Brewery, The Chamber

416 E 36th St

Home to Good Morning Vietnam, Wooden Robot now has 2 locations (that are always packed)! This brewery is one of the best spots in Charlotte. It’s a great time with great beers!

Legion Brewing

1906 Commonwealth Ave

Best known for their infamous Juicy Jay, Legion is now home to 2 Charlotte locations! It’s Plaza Midwood location is a comfortable neighborhood favorite.

Pilot Brewing 1331 Central Ave

A nano-brewery that’s newer to Charlotte features small batches. Definitely a great quaint and cozy neighborhood hang out.

Resident Culture Brewing Company

2101 Central Ave

Resident Culture brings a different vibe to the casual Plaza neighborhood. Good news, they also serve wine! And it’s half price by the bottle on Thursdays.




Legion Brewing

4350 Congress St

Best known for their infamous Juicy Jay, Legion is now home to 2 Charlotte locations! It’s new SouthPark location (and the first brewery SouthPark has ever seen) gives off a natural and open, but cozy vibe.

Suffolk Punch

One of South End’s most popular spots! Suffolk Punch is known for their cozy taproom, large outdoor area and amazing food menu. Did I mention they have $3 beers on Thursdays and Sundays?

A true staple of Charlotte, Sycamore is always a great choice for a day drinking spot or just a casual night out. Sycamore hosts a lot of events and great food trucks, be sure to bring your dog when you stop by!

Unknown Brewing Co.

1327 South Mint St

A rooftop brewery with a view of uptown, great inhouse pizza and beer, and live music. Unknown Brewery is South End’s greatest triple threat. It’s also a great place to hang on game days, since it’s walking distance to the Bank of American stadium.

Nestled just West of uptown, Blue Blaze is a chill taproom that features a large selection of American, English and German beer.

Wesley Heights first (and only) brewery. Town Brewing has a large outside area great for dogs and bigger get togethers. They also serve great food (which is always a plus)!
